I think the Dwalin can be used to mine Ores (Bulk), Other ships can mine liquid and gasses ill guess. (I don't really use those small mining ships, they are far to fragile to my taste). The Gigurum (bulk) is an transport/tradeship and not a mining ship ill think.Anyway, personally i should go for a Capital ship (Fedhelm - bulk) Stuffed with 20 construction drones, 25 - 50 surface mining collector (needed to automatic mining), and all the rest with some sorts of defence drones. (Partially offset by it's 3 mining lasers - but the ship is slow, etc). The scaldis is flexible and can mine anything given the right drones. But very limited storage for any single type of resource.True, 'Universal' Storage ships; Lykra, Lyrenea(sp), etc; store their entire holds with any type of ware (except Fuel - 10K only).Summary: Stick with a 'L' mining ship with the appropraite specialized hold for most situations.
